They Should Do This In English!!
Posted:Wednesday, 06/17/2009 at 03:06am by Brian Travis
In honor of the Crosstown Classic, I have to share this clip of a Pepsi commercial featuring Ozzie Guillen and Carlos Zambrano! They taped it in their native Venezuela. They should do an English version for Chicago! I would love to see the outtakes!! I hope the Pepsi folks didn't see what Carlos did to that Gatorade machine!!

The Walk-In Movie
Posted:Wednesday, 06/03/2009 at 02:06am by Brian Travis
One of my favorite summer events in Chicago is the Outdoor Film Festival in Grant Park. It features classic movies for free under the stars with the skyline as a backdrop! Some of this years movies include: "Sunset Boulevard", "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", "Psycho" and "Tootsie". I like to stop by and catch a flick before coming to work!

The Chicago Park District also features free classic and recent movies in neighborhood parks throughout the city. So pack some snacks and bring the family to the Walk-In Movie!

Someone else's bad karma could be your bargain! Propertyroom.com is a website founded by former police officers that auctions stolen, seized and forfeited goods from different law enforcement agencies from around the country. Some of their partners include the L.A., NYC, San Diego and Seattle police departments. This is LEGIT! You can bid on everything from cars to computers to jewelry! They handle all of the details! So go ahead and put a bid in for some of those things on your wish list. Happy bidding!!
