If a product has the Energy Star seal, it meets certain energy efficiency standards. Home appliances, electronics and windows are just a few of the products so check a product’s box or manual. In 2006, Energy Star products helped consumers save $14billion on utility bills. In addition to energy savings, there are rebates and federal tax credits available.
